Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, July 2013

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2013,
compared to July 2012, was 101.3.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and quarrying
(9.9%), Transportation and storage (7.0%) and Construction (6.9%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Administrative and support service activities (2.4%), Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities
(2.3%) and Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (1.6%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2013 was 30 851 denars.
In July 2013, 1.5% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
