Average monthly net wage paid per employee, January 2013

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in
January 2013, compared to January 2012, was 101.0.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and
quarrying (10.3%), Other service activities (8.8%) and Construction (6.9%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the
sectors: Information and communication (27.6%), Administrative and support service activities (7.1%) and Financial
and insurance activities (3.0%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in January 2013 was 21 185 denars.
In January 2013, 2.0% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
