Average monthly net wage paid per employee, November 2011

At the beginning of this year, the State Statistical Office applied the new National Classification of Activities (NACE Rev.2) for
collecting and processing data on the average monthly net wages. The monthly indices of the average net wage per employee
for 2010 are processed according to the new National Classification of Activities (NACE Rev.2).
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in November
2011, compared to November 2010, was 101.0.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Professional, scientific
and technical activities (10.1%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (9.6%) and Financial and insurance activities (7.1%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Agriculture, forestry and fishing (4.1%), Human health and social work activities (3.5%) Accommodation and food service activities
(3.1%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in November 2011 was 20 834 denars.
In November 2011, 2.4% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
