Average monthly net wage paid per employee, December 2010

According to the data of the State Statistical Office the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in December 2010, compared to December 2009, was 104.7

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (17.9%), Fishing (11.7%) and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles, motorcycles and personal and household goods (11.2%).

The biggest growth in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Transport, storage and communications (26.5%), Mining and quarrying (11.2%) and Real estate, renting and business activities (10.4%).

The average monthly net wage paid per employee in December 2010 was 21 454 denars.

In December 2010, 2.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
