According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in April 2017, compared to April 2016, was 101.4.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Information and communication (22.4%), Mining and quarrying (14.7%) and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (6.1%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Information and communication (14.4%) Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (4.0%) and Construction (3.9%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in April 2017 was 22 672 denars.
In April 2017, 0.9% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
