According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in November 2016, compared to November 2015, was 101.8.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (10.5%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (8.0%) and Construction (7.3%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (5.1%), Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (3.8%) and Agriculture, forestry and fishing (3.2%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in November 2016 was 22 380 denars.
In November 2016, 1.4% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
