According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in October 2016, compared to October 2015, was 101.1.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Construction (6.5%), Administrative and support service activities (5.8%) and Accommodation and food service activities (5.7%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Administrative and support service activities (4.5%), Accommodation and food service activities (4.2%) and Mining and quarrying (3.6%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in October 2016 was 22 460 denars.
In October 2016, 1.1% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
