According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in March 2016, compared to March 2015, was 103.0.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Administrative and support service activities (16.8%), Information and communication (14.6%) and Construction (12.8%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Information and communication (10.7%), Administrative and support service activities (9.3%) and Mining and quarrying (6.0%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in March 2016 was 22 053 denars.
In March 2016, 1.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
