According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in December 2015, compared to December 2014, was 101.4.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Administrative and support service activities (11.0%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (6.1%) and Information and communication (5.8%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Professional, scientific and technical activities (18.8%), Information and communication (9.9%) and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (8.9%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in December 2015 was 22 715 denars.
In December 2015, 1.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
