According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2015, compared to February 2014, was 100.8.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Other service activities (8.6%), Human health and social work activities (5.0%) and Education (4.0%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (8.8%), Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (8.3%) and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (7.2%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2015 was 21 104 denars.
In February 2015, 1.5% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
