According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in January 2015, compared to January 2014, was 102.3.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Other service activities (8.4%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (6.7%) and Human health and social work activities (6.1%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Professional, scientific and technical activities (18.2%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (7.7%) and Manufacturing (7.1%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in January 2015 was 21 828 denars.
In January 2015, 1.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
