According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in October 2014, compared to October 2013, was 102.2.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (10.5%), Construction (6.8%) and Human health and social work activities (5.5%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (9.6%), Education (5.0%) and Human health and social work activities (4.5%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in October 2014 was 21 717 denars.
In October 2014, 1.4% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
