The average monthly net wage paid per employee in June 2010 increased by 1.8% compared to June 2009

According to the data of the State Statistical Office the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in June 2010, compared to June 2009, was 101.8.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Wholesale and Retail Trade, Repair of Motor Vehicles, Motorcycles and Personal and Household Goods (12.0%), Education (5.8%) and Manufacturing (3.3%).

The decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Transport, Storage and Communications (7.7%), Hotels and Restaurants (5.6%) and Mining and Quarrying (4.6%).

The average monthly net wage paid per employee in June 2010 was 20 424 denars.

In June 2010, 3.0% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
