According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2013, compared to February 2012, was 101.4.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Construction (10.6%), Information and communication (7.7%) and Transportation and storage (7.0%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (15.0%), Construction (5.0%) and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (4.6%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2013 was 20 910 denars.
In February 2013, 2.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
