According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for
personal consumption, in December 2012, in comparison with November 2012, was 100.0, while in comparison with
December 2011 it was 104.7.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in December 2012, compared with November 2012, an increase of indices has
been registered in the groups: Clothing and footwear by 1.0%, Miscellaneous goods and services by 0.6%, Furnishings,
household equipment and routine maintenance of the house and Restaurants and hotels by 0.3%, Alcoholic beverages,
tobacco and Recreation and culture by 0.2%, and Health by 0.1%.
A decrease of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.3% and
Transport by 0.1%.
The indices of the groups: Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Communication and Education remained at
the same level as in the previous month.
