Consumer Price Index, by COICOP classification, December 2011

According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services
for personal consumption, in December 2011, in comparison with November 2011, was 99.9, while in comparison with
December 2010 it was 102.8.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in December 2011, compared with November 2011, a decrease of indices
has been registered in the groups: Recreation and culture by 1.2%, Furnishings, household equipment and routine
maintenance of the house by 0.7%, Food and non-alcoholic beverages, Alcoholic beverages, tobacco, Transport and
Communication by 0.1%.
An increase of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels
by 0.4%, Clothing and footwear, Health and Restaurants and hotels by 0.1%.
The indices of the groups: Education and Miscellaneous goods and services remained at the same level as in the
previous month.
