According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in June 2019, in comparison with the previous month, was 98.9, while the Retail Price Index was 99.3.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in June 2019, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled vegetables other then potatoes and other tubers by 20.3%, edible offal by 0.5%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 0.3%, fish and seafood, cheese and curd, other milk products by 0.2 %.
In June, there was also a decrease of the indices of liquid fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 3.5%, liquid fuels for household by 2.4%, cleaning and maintenance of the dwelling by 1.7%, equipment for reception, recording and reproduction of sound and picture by 1.5%, gas for household by 1.4%, gardens, plants and flowers by 1.0%, carpets and other floor coverings by 0.9%, information processing equipment by 0.8%, glassware, tableware and household utensils, games, toys and hobbies by 0.4%, small electric appliances, pets and related products by 0.3%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in June 2019, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled fruit by 3.9%, other bakery products by 0.7%, bread and cereals, meat, dried, salted, or smoked meat, dried fruit and nuts by 0.4%, milk, yoghurt, eggs by 0.3%, oils and fats, alcoholic beverages by 0.2%.
In June 2019, there was also an increase of package holidays by 3.8%, passenger transport by air by 3.1%, photographic and cinematographic equipment and optical instruments by 1.5%, passenger transport by road by 0.9%, motor cars by 0.8%, accommodation services by 0.7%, other medical products by 0.6%, major household appliances, recording media by 0.3%, footwear, telephone and telefax equipment and telephone and telefax services by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in June 2019 in comparison with June 2018 increased by 0.3%, while the Retail Price Index remained on the same level as previous month.
