According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index and the Retail Price Index in November 2016, in comparison
with the previous month, were 99.8.
The decrease in the Consumer Price Index by 0.2% in November 2016, in comparison with the previous month, is a result of the
lower indices of fresh or chilled fruit by 17.0%, rice by 8.0%, potatoes by 1.2%, meat by 0.6%, oils and fats by 0.5% and frozen
fruit by 0.2%.
In November, there was also a decrease of the indices of passenger transport by air by 7.1%, information processing equipment
by 1.7%, books by 0.3%, therapeutic appliances and cultural services by 0.2%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in November 2016, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or
chilled vegetables other than potatoes by 3.2%, eggs by 0.9%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 0.8%, whole
milk by 0.7% and other food products by 0.3%.
In November 2016, there was also an increase of the indices of telephone and telefax equipment by 3.2%, hospital services by
1.4%, accommodation services by 1.3%, liquid fuels for household by 1.1%, motor cycles by 1.0%, jewellery, clocks and watches
by 0.6%, footwear by 0.5%, bicycles, spare parts and accessories for personal transport equipment by 0.4%, gas for household,
gardens, plants, flowers, restaurants and cafes by 0.3%, clothes, liquid fuels and lubricants by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in November 2016, in comparison with November 2015, registered a decrease by 0.2%, while the
Retail Price Index increased by 0.2%.
