According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index and the Retail Price Index in June 2016, in comparison
with the previous month, were 100.0.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in June 2016, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled
fruit by 11.0%, tobacco by 5.8%, other food products by 0.5%, eggs by 0.4% and oils and fats by 0.2%.
In June 2016, there was also an increase of the indices of liquid fuels for household by 9.6%, liquid fuels and lubricants for
household by 3.2%, gas for household by 2.8%, accommodation services by 1.1%, major household appliances by 0.9%, small
electric household appliances by 0.6%, footwear, other medical products and specialist services by 0.3%, therapeutic appliances
and equipment and information processing equipment by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in June 2016, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled
vegetables other than potatoes by 8.9%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 1.3%, other bakery products by 0.9%,
dried, salted or smoked meat, dried fruit and nuts by 0.5%, fish and seafood and frozen vegetables other than potatoes by 0.3%
and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.2%.
In June, there was also a decrease of the indices of passenger transport by air by 10.8%, hospital services by 4.8%, package
holidays by 2.6% and gardens, plants and flowers by 1.2%.
The Consumer Price Index and the Retail Price Index in June 2016, in comparison with June 2015, registered a decrease by
0.7%.
