According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in February 2015, in comparison with the previous
month, was 100.0, while the Retail Price Index was 100.1.
The Consumer Price Index in February 2015, in comparison with the previous month, remained at the same level, but there were
movements in the prices in some subgroups. An increase in the indices was registered in fresh fruit by 3.7%, fresh vegetables by
1.9%, dry and canned fruit by 1.4%, non-alcoholic beverages by 1.0%, food products n.e.c. by 0.6%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate
and confectionery by 0.5%, fresh milk by 0.4% and alcoholic beverages by 0.2%.
In February 2015, in comparison with the previous month, there was also an increase of the indices of hospital services by 4.2%,
medicines by 3.0%, household textile by 2.1%, passenger transport by air by 1.6%, gas for households by 1.1%, personal care
articles by 0.8%, cleaning and maintenance products for the dwelling by 0.6%, beverages in restaurants and hotels and jewellery,
clocks and watches by 0.5%, services for maintenance and repair of the dwelling by 0.4% and communications by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in February 2015, in comparison with the previous month, was recorded in meat by
1.3%, frozen vegetables by 0.6%, canned vegetables by 0.4%, pasta by 0.3% and bread and cereals by 0.2%.
In February, there was also a decrease of the indices of liquid fuels for households by 6.3%, footwear by 2.8%, purchase of
vehicles by 2.6%, liquid fuels and lubricants by 2.1% and clothing by 0.9%.
The Consumer Price Index in February 2015, in comparison with February 2014, registered a decrease by 1.0%, while the Retail
Price Index decreased by 2.8%.
