According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in June 2023, in comparison with the previous month was 101.0, while the Retail price index was 100.7.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in June 2023, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled fruit by 13.2%, fresh or chilled vegetables other than potatoes and other tubers by 6.7%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 2.0%, wine by 0.8%, cheese and curd by 0.7%, bread and cereals, food products n.e.c by 0.5%, meat, beer by 0.3%, fish and seafood, coffee, tea and cocoa, spirits by 0.2%.
In June, there was also an increase in the indices of passenger transport by air by 14.5%, package holidays by 7.1%, glassware, tableware and household utensils, other appliances, articles and products for personal care by 2.0%, non-durable household goods by 1.8%, liquid products for household by 1.7%, fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 1.6%, carpets and other floor coverings by 1.5%, spare parts and accessories for personal transport equipment by 1.3%, services for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling, domestic services and household services by 1.0%, major electric household appliances, information processing equipment, books, accommodation services by 0.9%, photographic and cinematographic equipment and optical instruments, education not definable by level by 0.7%, shoes and other footwear, electric appliances for personal care by 0.6%, garments by 0.5%, other personal effects by 0.4%, motor cars by 0.3%, furniture and furnishings, small electric household appliances, small tools and miscellaneous accessories, bicycles, recording media, equipment for sport, camping and open–air recreation, restaurants, caffes and the like, hairdressing salons and personal grooming establishments by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price index in June 2023, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in oils and fats by 0.8 % and milk by 0.7%.
In June 2023, there was also a decrease of the indices of gas for household by 2.5%, gardens, plants, and flowers by 1.0%, solid fuels for household by 0.9%, pets and related products by 0.8%, jewellery, clocks and watches by 0.6%, cleaning, repair and hire of clothing by 0.4%, games, toys and hobbies by 0.3%, equipment for the reception, recording and reproduction of sound and picture by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in June 2023, in comparison with June 2022, increased by 9.3%, while Retail Price Index increased by 5.7%.
