According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in June 2021, in comparison with the previous month, was 100.5, while the Retail Price Index was 100.9.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in June 2021, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled fruit by 15.7%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 0.8%, oils and fats, food products n.e.c. by 0.7%, fish and seafood by 0.6%, meat, milk, mineral waters, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices by 0.3%, wine, beer by 0.2%.
In June, there was also an increase in the indices of passenger transport by air by 27.8%, accommodation services by 4.6%, recording media by 4.4%, miscellaneous printed matter by 2.5%, liquid fuels for household by 2.1%, books by 1.7%, therapeutic appliances and equipment by 1.1%, clothing materials, major tools and equipment, restaurants, cafes and the like, other appliances, articles and products for personal care by 0.6%, photographic and cinematographic equipment and optical instruments by 0.5%, other services relating to the dwelling n.e.c. by 0.4%, fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment, other services in respect of personal transport equipment, information processing equipment by 0.3%, footwear, materials for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling, package holidays by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price index in June 2021, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled vegetables other than potatoes and other tubers by 10.5%, eggs by 0.7% and rice by 0.2%.
In June, there was also a decrease of the indices of sewage collection by 3.7%, gas for households by 2.6%, electric appliances for personal care by 1.4%, small electric household appliances by 1.2%, gardens, plants and flowers by 0.8%, pets and related products by 0.4%, major household appliances, motor cars by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in June 2021, in comparison with June 2020, increased by 2.7%, while the Retail Price Index increased by 4.0%.
