According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in April 2014, in comparison with the previous month,
was 100.0, while the Retail Price Index was 100.1.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in April 2014, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh fruit by
5.7%, fresh vegetables by 3.1%, preserved meat products by 0.5%, other milk products by 0.4%, durable sausage products, fish
and sour milk by 0.2%.
In April, there was also an increase of the indices of passenger transport by air by 9.6%, footwear by 0.4% and clothing by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in April 2014, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in eggs by 1.0%,
other food products by 0.9%, fresh milk by 0.8%, meat and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.7%, processed milk by 0.6%, pasta and
fats by 0.4%, canned fish and alcoholic beverages by 0.3%.
In April, there was also a decrease of the indices of liquid fuels for households by 3.3%, liquid fuels and lubricants by 1.2%, solid
fuels and cleaning and maintenance products by 0.3% and gas for households by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in April 2014, in comparison with April 2013, registered a decrease by 1.1%, while the Retail Price
Index decreased by 1.5%.
