Consumer Price Index, by COICOP classification, December 2013

According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for personal
consumption, in December 2013, in comparison with November 2013, was 100.3, while in comparison with December 2012 it
was 101.4.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in December 2013, compared with November 2013, an increase of indices has been
registered in the groups: Food and-non alcoholic beverages and Transport by 0.5%, Recreation and culture and Miscellaneous
goods and services by 0.3%, Health by 0.2%, Clothing and footwear and Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.1%.
A decrease of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Restaurants and hotels by 0.6%, Alcoholic beverages,
tobacco and Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house by 0.2%.
The indices of the groups: Communication and Education remained at the same level as in the previous month.
