According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for personal
consumption, in September 2013, in comparison with August 2013, was 100.2, while in comparison with September 2012 it was
101.6.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in September 2013, compared with August 2013, an increase of indices has been
registered in the groups: Health by 6.4%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 1.2%, Transport by 0.9%, Recreation
and culture by 0.7%, Alcoholic beverages, tobacco and Clothing and footwear by 0.4%, Miscellaneous goods and services by
0.3%, Communication and Restaurants and hotels by 0.1%.
A decrease of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance
of the house by 0.8% and Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.7%.
The index of the group Education remained at the same level as in the previous month.
