According to the State Statistical Office data, the Retail Price Index in October 2013, in comparison with the previous month, was
99.7, while the Consumer Price Index was 99.9.
The decrease in the Consumer Price Index by 0.1% in October 2013, in comparison with the previous month, is a result of the
lower indices of fruit by 6.3%, fats by 4.6%, alcoholic beverages by 0.8% and other food products by 0.2%.
In October 2013, there was also a decrease of indices of oil derivatives by 3.4%, liquid fuels and gas for households by 1.1%,
household utensils and personal care articles by 0.2%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in October 2013, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in vegetables
by 1.6%, meat by 0.7%, processed vegetables and processed milk by 0.4%, dry fruit by 0.3% and cereal products by 0.2%.
In October, there was also an increase of indices of outpatient services by 1.1%, clothes by 0.9%, passenger transport by air by
0.8%, transport vehicles by 0.4%, materials for the maintenance of dwelling and medicines by 0.2%.
The Retail Price Index in October 2013, in comparison with October 2012, registered an increase by 0.7%, while the Consumer
Price Index increased by 1.3%.
