According to the State Statistical Office data, the Retail Price Index in September 2013, in comparison with the previous month, was 100.5, while the Consumer Price Index was 100.2.
The increase in the Consumer Price Index by 0.2% in September 2013, in comparison with the previous month, is a result of the higher indices of alcoholic beverages by 1.2%, fish by 0.8%, processed milk by 0.7%, processed fruit by 0.3%, dry fruit and meat by 0.2%.
In September 2013, there was also an increase of indices of medical products and appliances by 6.4%, passenger transport by air by 5.2%, means of education by 3.3%, liquid fuels and gas for household by 3.1%, solid fuels by 2.7%, oil derivatives by 1.6%, clothing, footwear and household appliances by 0.4% and beverages in restaurants and hotels by 0.3%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in September 2013, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fruit by 3.1%, cereal products by 1.2%, vegetables by 0.7%, processed vegetables by 0.3%, processed meat, processed fish, eggs and other food products by 0.2%.
In September, there was also a decrease of the indices of package holidays by 12.3%, personal care articles by 0.6%, accommodation services by 0.3%, furniture and household utensils by 0.2%.
The Retail Price Index in September 2013, in comparison with September 2012, registered an increase by 0.7%, while the Consumer Price Index increased by 1.6%.
