According to the State Statistical Office data, the Retail Price Index in June 2013, in comparison with the previous month, was
100.4, while the Consumer Price Index was 100.3.
The increase in the Consumer Price Index by 0.4% in June 2013, in comparison with the previous month, is a result of the higher
indices of fruit by 13.5%, processed milk by 0.5%, meat and fish by 0.3%, and fresh and sour milk and alcoholic beverages by
0.2%.
In June 2013, there was also an increase of indices of package holidays by 9.0%, passenger transport by air by 1.7%, communication services by 1.6%, oil derivatives by 1.2%, liquid fuels and gas for households by 1.0%, footwear by 0.4% and food and beverages in restaurants and hotels by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in June 2013, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in eggs by 2.5%,
vegetables and fats by 0.8%, other food products by 0.6%, and processed meat by 0.4%.
In June, there was also a decrease of the indices of accommodation services by 9.8% and personal care articles by 0.5%.
The Retail Price Index in June 2013, in comparison with June 2012, registered an increase by 2.3%, while the Consumer Price
Index increased by 4.2%.
