According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, obtained from the annual reports of business entities and other
sources, the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2015 was 558 240 million denars and in comparison with 2014 it increased by 5.8%
in nominal terms. The real GDP growth rate in 2015, compared to 2014, was 3.8%.
The following sectors had the biggest share of value added in the structure of GDP in 2015: (G, H and I) Wholesale and retail trade;
repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and food service activities (18.7%).
The final consumption in 2015, in comparison with 2014, increased by 3.6% in nominal terms, while its share in the structure of
GDP was 85.1%.
In 2015, the share of export of goods and services in GDP was 48.8%.According to the preliminary data, the total value of gross
fixed capital formation (GFCF) for 2015 was 129 095 million denars.
The nominal increase in the value of gross fixed capital formation for 2015, compared to 2014, was 4.5%.
In the technical structure of GFCF, construction participated with 63.4%, machinery and equipment with 30.1%, and the rest of
GFCF with 6.5%.
