Gross Domestic Product, second quarter of 2016

According to the estimated data, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2016 was 2.2%.
In this quarter, the biggest increase was recorded in sections: F - Construction by 31.0%; M and N - Professional, scientific and
technical activities; Administrative and support service activities by 11.5%; and K - Financial and insurance activities by 4.9%.
In the second quarter of 2016, Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, increased by
1.3% in nominal terms, and its share in the GDP structure was 69.5%.
In the same period, Export of goods and services increased by 4.2% in nominal terms, while Import of goods and services
increased by 6.6%.
