Gross Domestic Product, second quarter of 2024

According to the estimated data, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2024 was 2.3%.
In this quarter of 2024, the bigger increase was recorded in sections: R, S and T- Arts, entertainment and recreation; Other service activities; Activities of households as employers; undifferentiated goods- and services-producing activities of households for own use by 9.5 % and M and N-Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support service activities by 8.7 %.
In the second quarter of 2024, Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, increased by 4.7% in nominal terms, and its share in the GDP structure was 74.5%.
In the same period, Export of goods and services decreased by 3.4% in nominal terms, while import of goods and services decreased by 5.2%.
Gross capital formation in the second quarter of 2024 registered the increase in gross fixed capital formation and decrease in changes in inventories.
