According to the estimated data, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2021 was 13.1%.
In this quarter, an increase was recorded in sections: G, H and I - Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and food service activities by 46.0%; B, C, D and E - Mining and quarrying; Manufacturing; Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply; Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 11.4% and J - Information and communication by 5.7%.
In the second quarter of 2021, Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, increased by 14.9% in nominal terms, and its share in the GDP structure was 70.2%.
In the same period, Export of goods and services increased by 62.2% in nominal terms, while Import of goods and services increased by 64.4%.
