Producer prices of industrial products in February 2010, in comparison to February 2009, increased by 7.4%

According to the State Statistical Office data, the producer price index of industrial products in February 2010, in comparison to February 2009, was 107.4.

This increase, first of all, is a result of the increased prices in Energy by 24.0% and Capital goods by 0.1%.

The Producer price index of industrial products in February 2010, in comparison to February 2009, in the section Mining and Quarrying decreased by 0.8%. In the section Manufacturing industry the producer price index increased by 6.7%, and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply increased by 11.2%.

In February 2010, in comparison with February 2009, the index of the prices in the group Builders’ carpentry and joinery increased by 1.2%.
