Theatres, philharmony and professional folk dance and song ensembles, 2009/2010

In accordance with State Statistical Offce data, in 2009/2010 compared with 2008/2009, the number of performances at professional theatres was decreased by 5.3 %, while the number of visitors was decreased by 6.1%.

The average number of visitors per performance was 241.In 2009/2010, compared with 2008/2009, the number of performances at professional youth and children's theatres was decreased by 3.3%, and the number of visitors was decreased by 4.3%.

For amateur theatres, for the same period, the number of performances was increased by 50.7 %, while the number of visitors by 64.3%.

For Macedonian Philharmony, in 2009/2010 compared with 2008/2009, the number of concerts was increased by 9.4%, and the number of visitors was increased by 13.8%.

For professional folk dance and song ensemble, for the same period, the number of performances as well as the number of visitors was decreased.
