Theatres, philharmonic and professional folk dance and song ensembles, 2011/2012 - Preliminary data

According to the State Statistical Office data, in the period 2011/2012, compared to 2010/2011, the number of performances at professional
theatres decreased by 7.8%, while attendance decreased by 30.1%.
The average attendance per performance was 244 visitors.
In the period 2011/2012, compared to 2010/2011, the number of performances at professional youth and children's theatres increased by
17.6%, while attendance increased by 34.2%.
In amateur theatres, for the same period, the number of performances decreased by 31.5%, while the number of visitors decreased by
44.7%.
For the Macedonian Philharmonic, in 2011/2012, compared to 2010/2011, the number of concerts and attendance decreased.
Regarding the professional folk dance and song ensemble, in 2011/2012, compared to 2010/2011, there was an increase in the number of concerts and attendance.
