Theatres, philharmonic and professional folk dance and song ensembles, 2010/2011 - Preliminary data -

According to the State Statistical Office data, in the period 2010/2011, compared to 2009/2010, the number of performances at professional theatres increased by 14.2%, while attendance increased by 52.8%.
The average attendance per performance was 322 visitors.
In the period 2010/2011, compared to 2009/2010, the number of performances at professional youth and children's theatres decreased by 4.0%, while attendance decreased by 9.3%.
For amateur theatres, for the same period, the number of performances increased by 25.7%, while the number of visitors increased by 73.8%.
For the professional folk dance and song ensemble, in 2010/2011, compared to 2009/2010, there was an increase in the number of concerts, whereas attendance decreased.
