According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of teachers and supporting staff in the tertiary education institutions in the academic year 2023/2024 was 4 656.
Of the total number of teaching personnel and supporting staff, 3 264 persons or 70.1% are teachers, while 1 392 persons or 29.9% are supporting staff.
The number of female teachers and supporting staff in the academic year 2023/2024 was 2 361 or 50.7%.
