Index of the number of employees in industry, November 2012

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of
Macedonia in November 2012, in comparison with November 2011, was 99.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in November 2012, in comparison with
November 2011, increased by 9.0%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 2.0%, while in the section
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 3.3%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in November 2012, in comparison with November
2011, was lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.6%, Capital goods industries by 9.3% and
Durable consumer goods industries by 7.9%, but higher in Energy by 9.5%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - November
2012, in comparison with January - November 2011, was 97.5.
