According to the State Statstcal Ofce data, the index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in November 2011, in comparison with November 2010, was 98.4.
The number of employees in industry in the secton Mining and quarrying in November 2011, in comparison with November 2010, decreased by 0.6%, in the secton Manufacturing industry it decreased by 1.7% and in the secton Electricity, gas, steam and air conditoning supply it decreased by 1.2%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in November 2011, in comparison with November 2010, was higher in Capital good industries by 1.5%, but lower in Energy by 2.7%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 1.5%, Durable consumer goods industries by 3.3% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.6%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January -
November 2011, in comparison with January - November 2010, was 101.7.
