Index of the number of employees in industry, July 2011

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in July 2011 in comparison with the same month of the previous year is 101.9.

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and Quarrying in July 2011 in comparison with July 2010 increased by 3.1 %, in Manufacturing industry increased by 1.5 % and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 4.7 %.

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groups in July 2011 in comparison with July 2010 is bigger in Energy by 3.9%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 1.8%, Capital good industries by 1.4 % and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.7 %.

The index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - July 2011 in comparison with January - July 2010 is 102.1.
