According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in June 2011, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, was 103.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in June 2011, in comparison with June 2010, increased by 2.8%, in Manufacturing industry it increased by 1.8% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 4.2%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groups in June 2011, in comparison with June 2010, was higher in Energy by 3.2%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 2.8%, Capital goods industries by 5.5% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.2%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - June 2011, in comparison with January - June 2010, was 102.2.
