The number of employees in industry in July 2010, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, decreased by 4.1%

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in July 2010, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, is 95.9.

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and Quarrying in July 2010, in comparison with July 2009, decreased by 1.5 %, in Manufacturing industry it decreased by 4.7 % and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply it decreased by 1.1 %.

In July 2010, the employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia, in comparison with the average number of the employees in industry in 2005, decreased by 14.9 %.

The index of the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - July 2010, in comparison with January - July 2009, is 93.6.
