The number of employees in industry in January 2010, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, decreased by 7.1%

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in January 2010, in comparison with the same month of previous year, was 92.9.

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and Quarrying in January 2010, in comparison with January 2009, decreased by 9.3 %, in Manufacturing industry decreased by 7.3 % and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply decreased by 2.9 %.

In January 2010, the number of employees in industry in the Republic of Macedonia, in comparison with the average number of employees in industry in 2005, decreased by 14.6 %.
