According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in March 2019, in comparison with March 2018, was 99.2.
The number of employees in industry in the section Manufacturing in March 2019, in comparison with March 2018, decreased by 0.9%, in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.4%, while in the section Mining and quarrying it increased by 0.4%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2019, in comparison with March 2018, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 0.2% and Capital goods by 9.3%, but lower in Energy by 0.8%, Durable consumer goods by 4.6% and Non-durable consumer goods by 4.7%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - March 2019, in comparison with January - March 2018, was 100.4.
