According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in September 2018, in comparison with September 2017, was 104.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2018, in comparison with September 2017, increased by 2.1%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 4.7% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.4%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2018, in comparison with September 2017, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 7.3% and Capital goods by 17.2%, Non-durable consumer goods at the same level, but lower in Energy by 0.8% and Durable consumer goods by 2.0%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - September 2018, in comparison with January - September 2017, was 106.8.
