Indices of the number of employees in industry, July 2018

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in July 2018, in comparison with July
2017, was 107.2.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in July 2018, in comparison with July 2017, increased
by 2.1%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 7.9% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it
decreased by 0.7%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in July 2018, in comparison with July 2017, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 12.0%, Capital goods by 24.3% and Non-durable consumer goods by 1.5%, lower in Energy by 1.1% and in Durable consumer goods by 1.8%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - July 2018, in comparison with January - July 2017, was 107.4.
