Index of the number of employees in industry, February 2016

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in February 2016, in comparison
with February 2015, was 101.6.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in February 2016, in comparison with February
2015, increased by 0.6%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 1.6%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air
conditioning supply it increased by 2.4%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in February 2016, in comparison with February 2015, was
higher in Energy by 2.2%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 4.5% and Capital goods by 20.6%, but lower in Durable consumer
goods by 0.3% and Non-durable consumer goods by 3.5%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January-February 2016, in comparison with January-February
2015, was 101.6.
