According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in December 2015, in comparison
with December 2014, was 101.7.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2015, in comparison with December
2014, decreased by 0.8%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 2.0% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam
and air conditioning supply it is at the same level.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2015, in comparison with December 2014, was
higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 4.5% and Capital goods industries by 16.3%, but lower in Durable
consumer goods industries by 4.8%, Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.7% and Energy by 0.5%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January-December 2015, in comparison with January-December
2014, was 101.8.
