Index of the number of employees in industry, March 2015

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in March 2015 in comparison
with March 2014 was 100.9.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2015 in comparison with March 2014
decreased by 4.3%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 1.6% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air
conditioning supply it decreased by 3.1%.
?he number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2015 in comparison with March 2014 was higher
in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.5%, Capital good industries by 15.4% and Durable consumer goods
industries by 2.5%, but lower in Energy by 6.6% and Non-Durable consumer goods industries by 1.6%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - March 2015, in comparison with January - March 2014,
was 102.2.
