According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in November 2014, in
comparison with November 2013, was 108.6.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in November 2014, in comparison with November
2013, decreased by 3.8%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 10.4%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam
and air conditioning supply it increased by 0.7%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in November 2014, in comparison with November 2013, was
higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 6.2%, Capital goods industries by 115.3%, Durable consumer goods
industries by 3.9% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.3%, but lower in Energy by 3.4%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January-November 2014, in comparison with January-
November 2013, was 107.9.
